Not So Little Britain Stars Most Powerful

London, UK: Matt Lucas and David Walliams, stars of hit UK comedy “Little Britain;” have been voted the most powerful people in television comedy.
Magazine the Radio Times lists the most influential people each year in a chart compiled by an expert panel.
The pair, whose show is often controversial (see this story), knocked last year’s number one Graham Norton from the top spot. Norton moved down to 16th place. In second was “Phoenix Nights” star Peter Kay and in third came Ricky Gervais of "The Office " fame.
Gervais is almost sure to top the chart next year with him writing an episode of "The Simpsons," a new series and a part in Tom Cruise movie "Mission: Impossible 3" all lined up for this year.
