Tonight, Quincy Jones, Melissa Manchester, Tonya Pinkins, Rupert Holmes, David Zippel, Annaleigh Ashford, Klea Blackhurst, Baayork Lee and more will attend the VIP New York premiere of Marvin Hamlisch: What He Did For Love First Film Biography of Composer-Conductor Produced by Dramatic Forces and THIRTEEN's American Masters Series at The Paley Center for Media, 25 West 52nd St. (between 5th & 6th Ave.)


The new documentary Marvin Hamlisch: What He Did For Love is the American Masters series' Season 27 finale, premiering nationally Friday, December 27, 2013, 9-10:30 p.m. on PBS (check local listings) and available on DVD January 14, 2014 via PBS Distribution.

With exclusive access to Marvin Hamlisch's (June 2, 1944 - Aug. 6, 2012) personal archival treasure trove, candid interviews with A-list collaborators from music, stage and screen, and complete cooperation from his family, American Masters takes a deeply personal look at one of the greatest artists of our time.
