The verdict on 'The View' comes today, Barbara Walters to talk exits

The chairs are churning once again on "The View" as we already know from last week's reports that conservative host Elisabeth Hasselbeck and chat queen liberal Joy Behar are both out.

But who will replace them is the source of some well-sourced rumors.

This Monday morning, executive producer and chief chair holder Barbara Walters will illuminate the official spin on what is happening with the ABC daytime talk show.

Last week it was announced that co-host Joy Behar was leaving the show after her contract expires in August.

Behar reportedly is on to greener pastures at CNN after a 16 year run on the morning confab.

Then, US Weekly revealed that co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck was getting the boot. The magazine purported that her conservative views were pushing audience members away.

Rumors spread that Walters' future with the show was also in flux.

Replacement rumors were published that tip Princeton graduate Brooke Shields, actress and mother, is the prime replacement.

Here's to Barbara clearing up the air today, and perhaps surprising us all with adding some fun, Latina perspective to the series.
