A new video is released featuring Edward Michael "Bear" Grylls, the famous British adventurer, writer and television presenter best known for his TV series "Man vs. Wild."

This video takes the viewer on an thrill ride with Bear Grylls, who's no stranger to the essentials of safety, as he has parachuted into some of the world's most inhospitable locations to demonstrate survival tactics when stuck alone in the wilderness.

In that spirit of survival Bear Grylls has taken a moment to demonstrate the essentials of in-flight air safety whenever flying through this unique video to check out.

About “The Bear Essentials of Safety” video:
The video was produced by the creative minds of Air New Zealand, who have proven time and again to be at the avant-garde of making safety guides, marking a first in airline safety videos with this new production that's set and filmed entirely outside of an airplane.

It was filmed along the Routeburn Track, a 32km, 2-4 day track in the southwestern corner of New Zealand's South Island and highlights Air New Zealand’s association with the Department of Conservation (DOC).

Watch as Bear explores and encounters many New Zealand natives, including entomologist Ruud Kleinpaste and local animals like the Tuatara (lizard), Kia (bird), and Weta (insect).

Viewers are also given the chance to enter to win The Great Kiwi Bucket List: a trip for two from anywhere in the world to New Zealand by simply tuning-in and watching the video.   #airnzbear
