Issa Rae joins Pharrell Williams’ “i am OTHER” Family for Season 2 of the Hit Web Series The Mis-Adventures of Awkward Black Girl

Since going viral in 2011, Issa Rae and Awkward Black Girl (ABG) have garnered over 500,000 viewers per episode (first episode hitting well over 1 million views), won the coveted Shorty Award for “Best Web Show,” and most recently, inked a production deal to air ABG on YouTube via a new YouTube partner channel brought to you by Pharrell Williams’ creative firm, i am OTHER.

Issa Rae and i am OTHER announced their collaboration with an official Awkward Black Girl Season 2 Trailer via i am Other, featuring Pharrell, which accumulated over 200,000 views in just two weeks. The new season of Awkward Black Girl, picks up where Season 1, Episode 12 left off.
