BrandX with Russell Brand - Kathy Griffin guest stars Feb. 14

Kathy Griffin will be Russell Brand's Valentine.

Brand greets fellow comedian Griffin as his special guest this Thursday, February 14 at 11:30PM ET/PT on full-hour live episode of BrandX with Russell Brand.

Griffin is a two-time Emmy® winner, NY Times bestselling author, five-time Grammy nominee, a Broadway darling with her sold out run of Kathy Griffin wants a Tony, 2009’s GLAAD Vanguard recipient and 2011 Trevor Project Life Award honoree.

The Chicago native landed a couple of one-hour shows on HBO and a reality show on MTV. Griffin’s reality show Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D List garnered six Emmy® nominations and two wins and her stand up specials have also been nominated for five Emmy nominations.  Griffin has just moved from the world of reality to the world of talk shows, with her primetime show called KATHY! on Bravo.

BrandX aims Russell Brand’s unique, rollicking skillset at the traditional monologue, celebrity interviews, and audiences segments. The series currently airs at 11:30PM ET/PT, but will move to 11:00PM ET/PT beginning February 28.

Since hosting the MTV Video Music Awards in 2008 and 2009, Brand has garnered the largest audience since 2004, with nearly nine million viewers.
