Friday tune in alert for Brian Williams’ Rock Center:
From NBC
Rock Bottom; Reports from Harry Smith and Kate Snow
With less than 1,600 pandas left in the wild, China is trying to save its national symbol from extinction by breeding them in captivity. At the Chengdu Research base for Giant Panda breeding, they’ve developed a state-of-the-art fertility clinic where high-tech science is used to create as many baby pandas as possible. It’s one of the most massive and expensive efforts to save a species; some scientists are not in favor of the movement. Meet the baby pandas and the critics of the breeding program. Kate Snow reports.
The Bible is a best-seller, but it still seems unlikely as the center of a game show. But it is, and it’s a big hit. GSN is finding success in its faith-based game show, “The American Bible Challenge,” where host Jeff Foxworthy says, if you don’t know your Bible, you don’t have a prayer. Harry Smith goes to the set to find out what in Heaven’s name is going on.

Kate Snow introduces us to Kym Worthy, the Wayne County Prosecutor who's on a crusade to bring justice to crimes against women in the Detroit area. Cases that were all but forgotten -- some, for two decades. This brave woman is seeking justice for the forgotten.
Brian Williams wraps up the broadcast with a look back at what has people talking. From this week’s news to some of the quirky stuff online, it will be worth talking about tomorrow. #ROCKBOTTOM
