NBC is set to develop a new Roseanne Barr comedy according to THR, Deadline and Variety.
Universal Television has signed Barr on to develop a comedy for Barr to star in and produce. Her partners include Steven Greener, who worked with Barr on the Lifetime reality series "Roseanne's Nuts" in 2011.

Barr is currently a guest star on IFC's clever comedy "Portlandia" playing an interim mayor while Portland's mayor (played by Kyle MacLachlan) is "off the grid" over guilt induced by the outing of his incessant printing with his "pet" Prints, a closeted copy machine.
