Remodeled and gussied up with a chic modern blue, silver and chrome setting, The Insider now features Kevin Frazier paired with Thea Andrews to share hosting duties for omg!Insider, which aims to be your first stop for entertainment news on-air and online.
Executive producer Brad Bessey hosted the Television Critics Association last week during a special taping with fellow CBS syndicate star Arsenio Hall, who candidly spoke about his stepping out of the limelight to raise his son. "My dad never was able to come to any of my ball games, and my mom too, she worked two jobs," said Hall, whose son (now 13) asked him to try and do what he loves once again. "The budget this time around isn't as big as the first time, but we know so much more about what we are doing and have had great interest from so many people to appear," said Hall.
Bessey was effusive about the new blood in front of the cameras and behind the scenes, and analytical perspective the show brings to infotainment, namely questions and insight from a more journalistic bent and less salacious sensationalism typical of these types of shows.
"Both Thea and Kevin have sports backgrounds, and they are experienced, passionate, up and here ready to go at 5 AM. The entire staff lives and breathes entertainment news,” said Bessey.
Add to this mix the reporting skills of Michael Yo and Mary Kitchen, Keltie Colleen and gossip reporter Nina Parker.
Yahoo's IntoNow app will sync with “omg! Insider” to offer users more in-depth content and trivia tied to show content.
