Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell rewind and previews for FX are below.  At the recent winter press tour, Monsters and Critics had a chance to ask W. Kamau Bell and EP Chris Rock how they stayed informed on current events.

Monsters and Critics: Every one of us here has a pattern on how we get our news in the morning, whether -- and it's changed dramatically in the last 20 years.  It used to be newspapers.  Now it's the Internet.  Your show is based on current events and your riff on them and what's grinding your gears.  How do you inform yourself in the morning?  Also, Mr. Rock, you, too.  How do you get your news in the morning?

W. KAMAU BELL:  First of all, we should have called it "Winding Your Gears with W. Kamau Bell."  I like that as a name.  But how to ... it's really a lot of disparate sources.  I find that's the best way to get news is to not just go to one place. I mean,  if you were to come to my office, it would be, like MSNBC would be on, but then I would flip to FOX.  But then I would be looking on Twitter, and people would be tweeting articles at me.  And sometimes, on Facebook, people will tag me on things.  And so it's really just keeping your eyes open as much as possible to the world around you and not -- not ever going to one source...

M&C: What are your sources you go to?

W. KAMAU BELL:  I would say I'm a big fan of Jezebel.com; Colorlines.com, which I'm on the board of the applied research center; MSNBC and FOX News, obviously.  And, like I said, "Democracy Now!" I listen to a lot of "Democracy Now!" But, then, just in general just keeping your eyes open for lots of things.  You have also got to go to the E! channel, you know.

CHRIS ROCK:  No.  I'm New York Post, Daily News, New York Times...

W. KAMAU BELL:  He's a homer.

CHRIS ROCK:  I'm a homer, try to read actual papers because I'm old school.  For some reason, I think it seeps in your head, and then try to -- because there's no line right now between entertainment and news, so you've got to get your kind of bullshit stuff in, too.  You've got to get your Media TakeOut, your WorldstarHipHop with your New York Times to really --

W. KAMAU BELL:  That's what Chris has done a good job of with me is insisting that I spend time on WorldstarHipHop and MediaTakeOut.

CHRIS ROCK:  Yes.

W. KAMAU BELL:  It's like reverse vitamins.
