On this Sunday's "Face the Nation," former Scretary of State Condoleezza Rice made her debut as a CBS News contributor.

Ms. Rice appeared this past Sunday on "Face the Nation" to begin what looks to be her new career as a political and foreign policy analyst.

Host Bob Schieffer made the announcement before the roundtable discussion on Sunday's program.

CBS issued a press statement saying that Ms. Rice will "use her insight and vast experience to explore issues facing America at home and abroad."
