Recently at the winter press tour in Pasadena, CA., executive producer David Schulner spoke on panel about how he pitched the series: "I think it was, “Do you like ‘Dexter’? Do you like ‘House’? This is ‘House’ meets ‘Dexter.’”
Also announced from the TCA was the news that the great James Cromwell, Dr. Arden on FX's "American Horror Story: Asylum," and Andrew Mellon on 'Boarwalk Empire," has joined the cast of "Do No Harm."
The Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde-inspired medical drama follows Dr. Jason Cole (Steven Pasquale), a neurosurgeon trying to contain his evil alter-ego, known as "Ian," who threatens to mess with his professional and personal lives.
Cromwell is cast as the lead character's mentor.
"Do No Harm" premieres Thursday, Jan. 31 at 10/9 p.m. CST following the one-hour series finale of "30 Rock" on NBC.
