NBC's "Smash" has a new Tuesday time slot (10 ET/PT) when it returns Feb. 5.
The series continues the story of the fictional Broadway show about Marilyn Monroe.
Smash is adding Jennifer Hudson in a few episodes, including the season premiere, as a Broadway diva, and actor and "Grimm" producer Sean Hayes and Jesse L. Martin will appear with Bernadette Peters, who returns as Ivy's mother.
NBC and Columbia Records also announced that a 22-song cast album for “Bombshell,” the mythical Marilyn Broadway play, will be released on Feb. 12. NBC premieres the drama’s second season a week before the album comes out.
