Cooking Channel jumps into January with two new series, three season premieres and three fresh on-air specials.

Aarti Sequeira takes a journey around the globe searching for iconic foods unique to specific countries and learns the meaning behind cultural food traditions in Taste in Translation premiering Friday, January 4th at 9pmET/6pmPT.

Emeril Lagasse then takes a state-side journey through Florida uncovering some of what makes the Sunshine State a popular destination for visitors and residents alike in Emeril's Florida premiering Sunday, January 6th at 10:30amET/7:30amPT.

Whether it's a soccer game in Peru, a baseball game in Japan, or a Rugby match in Australia, a global love of sports goes hand in hand with a love for mouth-watering stadium snacks and finger foods. Rugby matches in Australia can get messy, so reaching for a compact and savory meat pie is a must.  While in the Philippines, it's all about a spicy siopao steamed bun when taking in a boxing match, and Aarti introduces chef Dale Talde who demonstrates the recipe.  Aarti also tracks down Peruvian favorites at Amaru in New York City while patrons chow down on their favorite soccer match sandwich.  Finally, what would an American football game be without its very own favorite game day treat? Premiering Sunday, January 6th at 10:30amET/7:30amPT - "Dining and Entertainment in Orlando" - SEASON PREMIERE!

In the premiere episode, Emeril heads to Orlando making his first stop at The Ravenous Pig in Winter Park to whip up a delicious cobia dish with chef and owner James Petrakis. Then, he stops in at his own restaurant, "Emeril's Orlando," for a surprise visit and heads to the kitchen, where he and the Culinary Director, Bernard Carmouche, prepare black grouper with sofrito, rock shrimp and avocado toast. After uncovering some of the freshest seafood in Orlando, Emeril explores the nightlife and entertainment that locals rave about including a stop at Vines Grille & Wine Bar, one of the best establishments for wine in the city. From there he visits Orlando Brewing to taste organic beers with owner, John Cheek.He then escapes the Florida heat at ICEBAR Orlando where the temperature inside is 20 degrees Fahrenheit - the coldest place in Florida to get a cocktail. No trip would be complete without dessert, so Emeril makes his last stop at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort where he and Executive Pastry Chef David Ramirez sample some creative and delicious chocolates to round out a day of delicious food and drink exploration.

Premiering Sunday, January 13th at 10:30amET/7:30amPT - "South Walton Beaches"

Emeril visits the world famous beaches of South Walton in the Florida Panhandle. His first stop is the Fish Out of Water restaurant at the WaterColor Inn & Resort. Emeril and Executive Chef Brian Murray stop at a local farm to select ingredients for grouper and corn pudding and then head to the kitchen to whip up a fresh, seasonal treat. Emeril then travels down the road to a well-known stop for local and visitors alike, Bud & Alley's, on the beach in Seaside. He whips up Barbecue Shrimp with Executive Chef David Bishop. Finally, Emeril and a few of his friends take a fishing trip in the Gulf of Mexico to catch vermillion snapper and triggerfish that he cooks dockside at the marina at the end of the day.

Premiering Sunday, January 20th at 10:30amET/7:30amPT - "Viva Florida"

Viva Florida 500 commemorates Florida's rich heritage and diverse cultural history, and this episode recognizes the 500th anniversary of the Spanish explorers' arrival on Florida's east coast. Emeril begins in St. Augustine where he rediscovers the rich history of the first settlement before heading to The Tasting Room, one of the top restaurants in the city.

There, Executive Chef Michael Lugo prepares a classic dish of Spain, snapper, escabeche and of course, tapas. Next, Emeril travels to Pensacola to visit Jackson's Steakhouse, where Executive Chef Irv Miller prepares a number of dishes from their menu for Emeril. Emeril then joins him the kitchen to prepare what Chef Miller calls Autumn Bouquet of Wagyu Beef. Later, Emeril stops Ybor City in Tampa to visit the Columbia Restaurant, the oldest restaurant in Florida.

There, he cooks paella with Andrea Gonzmart, a fifth generation member of the Gonzmart Family which owns the Columbia Restaurant.Finally, Emeril visits with a modern day explorer, Colonel Rick Searfoss, at the Kennedy Space Center on Florida's East Coast.

Premiering Sunday, January 27th at 10:30amET/7:30amPT - "Kissimmee"

Emeril heads to Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida, where he and his guide tour an area that has one of the highest densities of endangered and threatened species in Florida. Emeril then goes to Boggy Creek Airboat Rides for a cruise of the northern end of the Florida Everglades with owner Chris Long. He then changes boats and captains for a bass fishing adventure in Lake Tohopekaliga, with his expert bass fishing guide, Mark Detweiler, one of the top guides in the area. Emeril then feeds his appetite at the Old Hickory Steakhouse in Kissimmee and meets Executive Chef Paul Player to sample a number of their signature dishes. Finally, Emeril goes to Warbird Adventures at the Kissimmee Air Museum for a tour of the facility where vintage aircraft and memorabilia from World War II are on exhibit.

Not My Mama's Meals - Premiering Wednesday, January 2nd at 9pmET/6pmPT

Bobby Deen returns for a third season, as he continues to take his mother's (Paula Deen) recipes and transform her southern comfort food into lighter, leaner, but still delicious versions of her dishes.  Special guest appearances this season include The Chew's Carla Hall and Eden Grinshpan. Bobby heads to Baby Cakes to learn how to make a healthy brownie base to transform his mother's over-the-top dessert. Then, his Southern friend with flair, Carla Hall, stops by to see if Bobby's recipes can beat out his mama's. They're having The Son's Chicken Pot Pie, a Butter-Less Banana Split Brownie Pizza, and Chocolate Egg Cream.

Premiering Wednesday, January 16that 9pmET/6pmPT - "Party Favorites"

Bobby visits Colette Burnett at Super Wings, a famous wing joint, and learns how to make a healthy buffalo sauce filled with a zippy mango flavor. Later, his friend Eden Grinshpan stops by to help cook Buffalo Chicken Sliders, Lemon Sorbet Punch, and sweet Five Layer Bark.

Premiering Wednesday, January 23rdat 9pmET/6pmPT - "Junk-Less Food"

Bobby visits Joe's Italian Deli where a gregarious father and son team teach Bobby how to make Low-Fat Mozzarella Cheese. Then, one of Bobby's best friends and trainer swings by for a man's meal including "Skinny Darrell" Wrap with Oven-Baked Chips and Stuffed Red Peppers.

Premiering Wednesday, January 30th at 9pmET/6pmPT - "It's Brunch Time"

Bobby heads to Waffle and Wolf to learn how to make healthy waffles that are delicious and nutritious. He then whips up a hearty Kale and Bacon Frittata. Bobby's fitness guru and friend Allison Hagendorf also swings by to help him in the kitchen with a vegetable filled ratatouille.

Bobby creates a brunch menu in the style of Italian trattorias-casual, laid back, and with plenty of family-style dishes. First up, he cooks Cinnamon Mascarpone Pancakes with Warm Morello Cherries and Hazelnuts. He also makes a Frittata with Cherry Tomatoes, Sausage, Arugula and Ricotta and serves it with a side of Rosemary Home Fries with Pancetta, Parmesan and Parsley. To toast to a wonderful meal, he pours up a citrus and mint cocktail that he calls a Citronata.

Bobby is making it easy to entertain for brunch with a menu of European-inspired small bites that are sure to please any crowd. His tasty brunch includes Calabrian Scrambled Eggs with Jalapeno Pesto Bruschetta, Buckwheat Crepes with Ham, Gruyere and Caramelized Onions and Mini Pumpkin Churros with a silky smooth Chocolate-Espresso dipping sauce.

Bobby loves to recreate his favorite vacation meals in his own brunch kitchen, and this menu is no exception. For his Vermont Style Bed & Breakfast menu he's making Black Pepper Popovers Filled with Vermont Cheddar and Herb Scrambled Eggs and Maple-Mustard Glazed Canadian Bacon. If that's not enough to get you out of bed, he's also making Baked Apples with Oatmeal and Yogurt and mixing up an Old Vermont Cocktail.

Bobby shows a little love for an often overlooked culinary destination - the Pacific Northwest. Today's brunch menu includes Smoked Salmon & Scallion Scramble with Whole Grain Toast and Homemade Goat Cheese Butter, plus a flavorful Wild Mushroom-Yukon Gold Hash and some irresistible Blackberry-Hazelnut Sticky Buns.
