American Horror Story a 'bloody' good show, season three announced

They got me with Bloody Face, I wasn't expecting Zachary Quinto!

What a great episode for American Horror Story, with a smorgasbord of accents, grotesqueries, lobotomies, amputees, Nazis, and the devil is still inside Sister Mary.

FX has ordered a third round of “American Horror Story.” The miniseries will launch its third iteration in the fall of 2013; 13 episodes to look forward to!

The first season was infidelity set in a haunted house, while season 2 is set in a Massachusetts' asylum for the criminally insane.

And the belle of both seasons, Jessica Lange, (Constance, Sister Jude) is returning for the next season.

American Horror Story: Asylum” topped all broadcast networks at 10 p.m. among 18-34 year olds, which makes it a major coup for FX.

“American Horror Story” was originally purchases by FX from from Murphy and Fox as a drama series set in a haunted house.

Murphy announced the second season, and every season thereafter, would be a new tale, though some new characters would be played by some returning actors.
