Time to order the favors and get into that dress. Our favorite love/hate network TLC tosses the bouquet to "Brides of Beverly Hills," two bridal specials and a bridal party series to headline the network’s wedding programming in November.
The specials and series include:
BRIDES OF BEVERLY HILLS premieres Friday, November 2 at 10 PM ET/PT (Series – Season 2)
The season will continue to follow the world-renowned bridal stylist Renée Strauss and her colorful team of stylists, including celebrity florist Kevin Lee, as they navigate the unique personalities and demands of the Beverly Hills bride. Vowing to deliver even more glitz, glamour and drama, premiere episode features famous reality TV star Linda Hogan.
Best known as ex-wife of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan and recent DUI arrest, Linda searches for the perfect gown - even after her engagement to Charley Hill, someone her daughter's age was called off. She believes that if she finds the perfect dress, the perfect man will soon follow.
BADA BLING BRIDES premieres Thursday, November 8 at 10 PM ET/PT (One-hour special)
Italian brides want three things: drama, attention and over-the-top couture wedding gowns. Stereotype much? The D’Agostino family bridal shop knows how to deliver the goods to every Italian princess that walks through their doors. But what happens when this family’s one and only daughter is getting married? Forget about it. Will the First Family of Italian wedding gowns survive the impending marriage mayhem? Not for nothing, cannoli will fly.
JERSEY BRIDES premieres Thursday, November 15 at 10 PM ET/PT (Two back-to-back 30-minute specials)
Apparently the Garden State is synonymous with Bad Taste. Go bling or go home – that’s the mantra for the typical Jersey bride in this Paramus boutique. Sisters Joyce and Julie Jou, owners of Bijou Bridal, must face these demanding, over-the-top brides as they search for the perfect wedding dress. White, lacey and sophisticated just doesn’t cut it – these brides want to be bedazzled and the center of all attention. Rhinestones, glitter, huge skirts and rolls of taffeta are the only things that can please these large-than-life ladies as they stick to tradition and never settle for being anything less than happy and fabulous on their big days.
ALONG FOR THE BRIDE (WT) premieres Thursday, November 22 at 10 PM ET/PT (Series – Premiere Season)
Infighting with wedding parties writ large: Planning a wedding is no piece of cake! Thank goodness for the invention of Bridesmaids…to help plan, organize, and support the bride through the most important and stressful time in her life. But not all Bridesmaids are created equal. Who will win the BFF competition and be crowned the Maid of Honor? The power of the MOH extends to the planning the bridal shower, the bachelorette, and is picked to stand first in the line-up. Chaos ensues as best friends from all different walks of life are thrown together and forced into tiny taffeta dresses. Will they all make it down the aisle in one piece? And will they remain best friends forever?
