Season three of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” premieres Sunday, October 14 at 9pm ET.  Tune in NOW as AMCTV.com launches another year of “The Walking Dead” original webisodes, titled “Cold Storage,” developed, produced and directed by Emmy Award winning special effects guru Greg Nicotero.

“Cold Storage” tells the story of a young man, Chase (played by Josh Stewart), trying to reach his sister in the early days of the zombie apocalypse.

He finds temporary shelter in a storage facility run by a former employee named BJ (played Daniel Roebuck); however, things are not what they appear.

In addition to Stewart (The Dark Knight Rises) and Roebuck (Lost), the cast of “Cold Storage” includes Cerina Vincent (Cabin Fever) as Kelly and Chris Nelson (Kill Bill) as Harris.

The four, five-minute shorts, produced by Generate for AMC, will be live on AMCTV.com on Monday, October 1.

“The Walking Dead” is the number one drama series in basic cable history for Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54.

Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman, “The Walking Dead” tells the story of the months and years that follow after a zombie apocalypse. It follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, who travel in search of a safe and secure home.

The award winning series stars Andrew Lincoln, Sarah Wayne Callies, Laurie Holden, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Chandler Riggs, Scott Wilson, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira and David Morrissey.  Season three of "The Walking Dead" is executive produced by showrunner Glen Mazzara, Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert.
