Ha! MasterChef Season 3 Winner Revealed (VIDEO)

The twist was that Ha, a Houston native working on her graduate degree, is blind.

The results are in: The winner of Masterchef is...Christine Ha.

MasterChef judges Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich and Graham Elliot invited 100 home cooks to Los Angeles to show off their best dishes. After weeks of competition, only two remained, Josh Marks and Christine Ha.

The twist was that Ha, a Houston native working on her graduate degree, is blind.

The winner took impressive prizes – including $250,000 and a cook book deal – on Monday's finale.

After reuniting with loved ones, the finalists were given two hours to cook an appetizer, an entrée and a dessert.

Josh went for butter-poached lobster with grits and sweet potato puree, a rack of lamb with green curry sauce, spring peas and carrots and bacon-crusted pecan pie with vanilla and cinnamon ice cream. The lobster being undercooked spoiled it for the judges.

Christine made Thai papaya salad with crab and mixed vegetables, braised pork belly with rice, crispy kale and maitake mushrooms topped with a quail egg and coconut lime sorbet with a ginger tuile.

The judges picked her for an impeccable execution and flavor balance.
