LA’s own pop-culture convention, COMIKAZE, is back – next weekend. With celebs like Stan Lee, Elvira, Linda Blair, Thomas Jane, Lou Ferrigno, Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead), Adam West, Burt Ward and Julie Newmar (Batman cast), and many more.
Tens of thousands of comic, horror, gaming, sci-fi and pop-culture enthusiasts from all over Southern California will fill up the Los Angeles Convention Center for an up-close look at Los Angeles’ largest pop-culture convention owned by comic legend Stan Lee and horror icon Elvira.
Fans will enjoy panel discussions, hundreds of vendors, celebrity appearances, interactive zombie obstacle course, Harry Potter-style Quidditch Tournament, movie screenings and more.
· Celebrity Appearances – Stan Lee, Elvira, Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead), Adam West, Burt Ward & Julie Newmar, Linda Blair, Thomas Jane, Lou Ferrigno, Todd McFarlane and many more will greet fans and pose for photos throughout the weekend
· Daniel Tosh PREMIERE: Daniel will debut his new animated show "Brickleberry" - one week before it airs on Comedy Central
· Panels: Kevin Smith’s “Fatman on Batman,” Todd McFarlane with Stan Lee, Sushi Girl with Mark Hamill, Felicia Day and the Cast of “The Guild”
· Stan Lee’s Comikaze Activision Arcade – Area will feature six of Activision’s newest games – Tony Hawk Shred, Deadpool, 007, Transformers Rise of Cybertron and The Walking Dead
· Comikaze Zombie Apocalypse – a 75,000 square foot survival course infested with zombies. Participants will be chased through a large obstacle course – where they must crawl, climb, and slide to safety
· Elvira Macabre Museum – The largest single collection of Elvira memorabilia as well as an opportunity to meet the star
· Stan Lee Mega Museum – One of the largest Marvel collections in existence, featuring Stan Lee’s personal Collection and Marvel movie memorabilia. Signing area with Stan Lee
· Quidditch Tournament – Local college students will compete in this unique sport made famous by Harry Potter
· Over 20,000 attendees expected in costume, and over 60,000 attendees overall
· Vendors – Check-out hundreds of vendors selling new and vintage memorabilia, original art, figurines, tees and much more
· Record-Setting Growth – Debuting in 2011, Stan Lee’s Comikaze was the largest comic-convention debut in the world. With over 35000 attendees in 2011, Comikaze expects over 60,000 attendees this time around
