Grifters abound in the hinterlands of America, and gosh darn if TLC and the series "Toddlers & Tiaras" possibly find one to star in the spin-off trainwreck series "Honey Boo Boo Child", as loud and proud momma June Shannon - who extolls the virtues of farting and buying stale lot foodstuffs to save a "dollah" - now is found to have a record. 

Well guess what? Starcasm.com reports that June Shannon, 33, was arrested for theft and contempt of court on Jan. 3, 2008.  Shannon was arrested by Georgia police in 2008 and she's got a mugshot polluting the Internet right now.

"Honey chile Boo Boo" Alana is celebrated for her antics after she guzzles (given to her by mother) Mountain Dew and Red Bull just before she hits the child beauty pageant stage. The kid is already overweight, as is the entire Boo Boo clan.

Side note: The CDC revealed the fattest states, no surprises here: http://www.cdc.gov/obesity/data/adult.html - except in Georgia's defense, it's not as fat as Mississippi and Alabama.
