One thing was for certain the night of Roseanne Barr's roast for Comedy Central, the people invited all loved Roseanne for telling it like it is, despite the continuous heat from the media and right wingers.
And the biggest breakout hit roaster that was a surprise?
Actress and singer Katey Sagal's deft roast summations that carved up each attending roaster to perfection and showed off the "Sons of Anarchy" star's ability to deliver lines with ease. She leveled Amy Schumer, and it was well-deserved.

We spoke to Gilbert Gottfried on the vintage sculptured brown and beige shag carpet from the original Roseanne show and asked if he feared roasting the woman who played the badass matriarch of a motorcycle gang in a series penned by her showrunner and actor husband, Kurt Sutter.
Sutter has a penchant for using the "c" word and eviscerating those that grind his gears on Twiter.
Gottfried quipped, "I can't form a sentence without sayng the word c*nt!"

The World Premiere of this oast airs Sunday, August 12 at 10:00 P.M. ET/PT
