'Sons of Anarchy' squares mother and brother for season five, thoughts (VIDEOS)

FX series "Sons of Anarchy" is a Shakespearean-tinged drama about motorcycles, a fierce matriarch and 1% motorcycle mobsters that takes viewers inside the biker gangs and outlaw world. FX’s excellent drama 'Sons of Anarchy' revved up the Sailor Moon saturated Comic-Con, presenting executive producer and series creator Kurt Sutter and cast members Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal and Ron Perlman for a press roundtable to try (operative word here) and deliver some dish for meat hungry fans.

Sutter keeps the tidbits close to his chest. But what we know is the prince is now King, and mama Gemma is struggling with her uncertain footing in the club.

And Piney is still dead.

Clay of course is the wildcard, how will he be eased out, or will he rebound? Will Jax inherit the mantle from his dear old step-dad and become a cold hearted ass, or will the goals for the MC become loftier?

We're betting on the Niners making that decision as payback is meted out for the death of Damon Pope's daughter last season. 

On thing is for certain, as much as we hated Agent June Stahl (Ally Walker), her murder left a huge void in the cast, and in many ways took that great bitch chemistry she had with Gemma and rendered the following season just a bit less juicy.

In the new season, Jimmy Smits is cast as gangster Nero Padilla, Ashley Tisdale plays a pricey escort and Harold Perrineau plays drug kingpin Damon Pope.

I will be interested in Bobby (Mark Boone Jr.), Juice (Theo Rossi), Opie (Ryan Hurst)and Tig's (Kim Coates) relationships with each other and the club. Each man represents a different quality or strength to SAMCRO. Tig is pure passion, Bobby is sobriety of thought, Juice is heart and Opie is loyalty to a fault.

Also, Dayton Callie's Chief Unser, and his unusual relationship with the MC will be of interest, and even Chuckie, the Jiminy Cricket of the club. Chuckie (Michael Marisi Ornstein) offers absurdist humorous moments to decompress the testosterone flowing off the screen.  Maybe we will see some of Michael's real paintings on the walls of SAMCRO's clubhouse, he's a true talent in the fine art world.
