Host of SyFy's 'Face Off' one of legendary Westmore makeup family

Westmore hosts the popular unscripted series “Face Off!” where special effects make-up artists with infinite imagination compete in a series of elaborate challenges including prosthetics, 3-D design, sculpting, eye enhancers, casting and molding for a panel of award winning special effects judges and guest judges.
Hailing from the legendary Westmore family, McKenzie Westmore returns to "Face Off" on Tuesday, August 21st at 9pm for the third season premiere of SyFy’s hit reality competition.

From her 10-year run as “Sheridan Crane” on NBC’s daytime drama, “Passions,” to her stint on ABC’s “All My Children” to “Star Trek Voyager,” Westmore is following in her family’s prestigious footsteps, where the Westmore Dynasty established the first makeup departments on production sets, delineated the seven Basic Face Shapes, and even created false eyelashes,
Her family introduced makeup special effects to film and designed such iconic faces as the “Bette Davis eye,” Vivian Leigh’s green eyes in Gone with the Wind, Ava Gardner’s eyebrows and Mary Pickford’s curl.
McKenzie studied make-up and prosthetics alongside her father Academy Award winner, Michael Westmore. With a passion for personal health, McKenzie has been a certified personal trainer and nutritionist specializing in holistic and homeopathic medicine for the past 10 years.
