Tune in alert for this Thursday’s new episode of Rock Center With Brian Williams that features Chelsea Clinton reporting from a jail that turns troubled teens into model students.

There are tens of thousands of juveniles now incarcerated in correctional facilities around the country. Chelsea Clinton visits the Maya Angelou Academy in Laurel, Maryland, a school within a correctional facility, where the District of Columbia sends high-risk youth and tries to prepare them to make better choices.

Making a Difference: Turning jailed teens into model students

There is a new epidemic in America: babies born addicted to the prescription painkillers their mothers abuse while pregnant. The symptoms are heartbreaking to watch: they have tremors, digestive problems and cry inconsolably.  There’s little doctors and nurses can do to comfort them as they slowly wean them off of these drugs. Kate Snow reports on the shocking increase in the number of babies born addicted.

In northern Chile, at 16,500 feet above sea level, scientists from around the world are building the world's largest radio telescope. When completed in 2013, sixty-six huge antennas--some weighing 115 tons--will stretch across a 10 square mile area of desert, point at the stars and try to unlock the secrets of the universe. The research there has already started; Harry Smith takes a rare trip to this remarkable and unearthly place.
