Fuse will premiere “Popped,” an original music documentary series that highlights the most extraordinary time in an artist’s career, the tipping point when an artist reaches superstardom on Monday, July 2nd at 9 pm ET.
Each episode will feature a new artist and the smash hit that catapulted them from a musician to a music icon with stories told by the artists’ family members, friends and industry experts.
Kicking off with Lil Wayne and his multi-platinum hit, “Lollipop,” “Popped” will give music lovers exclusive access to a fun, fresh, and upbeat behind-the-scenes look at the pop culture explosions surrounding each artist’s rise to the top of the charts.
Other episodes will feature Usher’s rise to celebrity with his infectious club track, “Yeah” and Britney Spears’ iconic smash single, “Baby One More Time.” Each premiere episode of “Popped” will air as part of Fuse’s Artist Takeover Mondays—a full day of programming dedicated to one artist including music videos, documentaries, live performances and more.
