iCarly's Miranda Cosgrove caps off Universal Orlando 2012 Summer Concert Series

Nickelodeon TV star and singer Miranda Cosgrove will cap off Universal Orlando Resort’s 2012 Summer Concert Series. On July 14, she’ll perform live for fans at Orlando’s ultimate summer music event.

Best known as the star of Nickelodeon’s hit TV series, “iCarly,” Cosgrove kicked off her musical career by performing the show’s theme song, “Leave It All to Me.” She continued recording popular songs for the show’s soundtracks and released a debut solo album, “Sparks Fly,” which appeared in the top 10 of the Billboard 200. Cosgrove also lends her voice to the blockbuster animated hit, “Despicable Me,” as one of Gru’s daughters, Margo.

Cosgrove is the final addition to a star-studded lineup of top-name musical acts at this year’s Summer Concert Series. The full lineup can be found below.

Access to the Summer Concert Series is included in admission to Universal Studios Florida and gives guests the opportunity to add a major concert to a day of theme park thrills.  By day, guests can enjoy some of the most popular entertainment experiences in the world– including the all-new Universal’s Superstar Parade, a daily parade that features elaborately themed floats that tower above guests, hundreds of energetic street performers and spectacular music and dance performances. By night, park guests can rock out to a live performance by a multi-platinum artist at the Music Plaza, a venue illuminated by the colorful LED lights of Universal Studios’ most rockin’ coaster, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit.
