HLN’S Evening Express programming for week of June 4

HLN's Evening Express airs weeknights from 5 to 7 PM.

Evening Express, hosted by Ryan Smith with Isha Iseey and Clark Howard, provides an energetic, inspirational and solutions-oriented look at the day’s news, accompanied by deeper discussions and reporting on stories and issues that resonate in the American household, including parenting, education, health, personal finance and relationships.

Scheduled guests for the debut week include:

Monday June 4: Mia Schaikewitz, star of the new Sundance TV reality series Push Girls. Defined as “a fierce, fearless woman who doesn’t let life’s challenges get in the way of what she wants,” Mia will talk about how she and her castmates, who are all in wheelchairs, overcome adversity and maintain their collective sense of humor despite extra challenges.

Thursday June 7: Lisa Ling, begins her new season of Our America with Lisa Ling on Own and offers a sneak peek into the controversial issues she’s following; Tia Mowry, whose show Tia & Tamara on the Style network premieres its new season on June 11, talks modern pregnancy and her book Oh Baby.

Friday, June: 9: Chris Pine, best known for playing the young Captain Kirk in the reboot of the Star Trek movie franchise, and writer Alex Kurtzman, discuss their new film People Like Us.
