Jersey Shore news, Snooki and 'Sitch' on back burner for new blood?

SallyAnn Salsano's production company 495 Productions is keeping mum about the rumors that pregnant Snooki and rehabbing The Situation are to be back-burnered for younger cast additions who will keep the antics fist pumping Garden State style.

TMZ reported that Salsano & Co. are "FREAKED" that their cash cow MTV series is going to lose the booze fueled-mojo and have put the word out for new blood.

MTV released a statement saying the entire cast to return for Season 6 ... but TMZ got insider scoop that 495 Productions (Salsano) is currently looking for new talent.

TMZ claims the producers will limit Snooki and The Situation's face time on the new season -- giving new cast members more screen time instead.

The show is set to begin filming this summer.
