Joey Essex has blasted 'moody' Georgina Dorsett.

The 'Only Way is Essex' star - who has been trying to win over the brunette beauty throughout the fourth series of the ITV2 show - laughed off rumours romantically linking him with his newest co-star, insisting he finds her boring and humourless.

He said: 'Those pictures of me and Georgina snogging were fake, I think they merged our heads together or something because I definitely haven't kissed her.

'To be honest, I think she's a bit moody and hasn't got a sense of humour. When I'm talking to her I feel like I'm falling asleep.

'When Diags and me took her and Lauren P out, they kept going on about it being a date, but we were just hanging. If it was a date, it would have been better than that.'

Joey has also pledged to help his friend James 'Arg' Argent through his recent romantic woes with on-off girlfriend of three years, Lydia Bright.

Writing in his column for Now magazine, he added: 'Poor Arg, he's getting so much flak at the moment but he's really cool. He shouldn't have said that thing about being able to sleep with Lydia whenever he wants, but he only meant it as a joke and he was a bit drunk at the time so it didn't come out right.

'Me and Diags are going to sort him out though - we won't have our gang moping.'
