Jenny Frost has been replaced by Ellie Taylor as host of 'Snog, Marry, Avoid'.

The former Atomic Kitten host joked that she loves fake tan and make-up too much to continue being involved with the make-under show and wished her replacement - a former model who competed on comedian search show 'Show Me The Funny' - the best of luck.

She tweeted: 'Sorry I couldn't tell you guys sooner-but yes there is a new series of SMAvoid but no,I won't be involved. Have loved doing the show........but come on guys lets face it, I love my tan, got false boobs & I wear more slap than Ru Paul on Halloween!!....

'good luck to the natural beauty that is @elliejanetaylor though!! Don't take any stick off Pod!!! Big kisses beautiful x (sic)'

Meanwhile, Ellie warned 'orange people' to look out for her and the show's POD (personal overhaul device).

She tweeted: 'Orange people of the UK beware! I'm dead chuffed to say I'll be presenting a brand new series of Snog, Marry, Avoid on BBC Three in the spring! (sic)'

Producers on the show - which will also feature new audio and graphics when it returns for a 10-part series this spring - are delighted with Ellie's appointment.

Producers Remarkable Television said: 'Ellie, with her kooky girl-next-door warmth, will inject a big dose of comedy into the show. We will scour the country for the most OTT looks and fans of the show will see some of the most dramatic make-unders yet.'

BBC commissioner Sam Bickley added: 'Ellie brings a brand new comedy vibe to the format and a fun, big sister quality that will allow the extraordinary real life stories to emerge too.'
