Tune in alert as Fuse, the national music television network,  is taking a unique 360 degree approach to the 2012 GRAMMY Awards by covering all the pre and post GRAMMY activity.

From FUSE

Fuse will cover red carpet arrivals on air, and provide a companion viewing experience on youtube.com/fuse for fans that want a second screen experience during the main event featuring a panel of music experts who will comment on the award show live as it happens.

Kicking off at 4 pm ET, fans can whet their GRAMMY appetites by tuning into Fuse to catch Toure’ live on the GRAMMY red carpet with artist interviews and live updates.  In addition to Toure’s live hits, music lovers can also find the 2012 GRAMMY Takeover on Fuse airing the hottest nominated videos of the year, along with pop up graphics containing dynamic GRAMMY facts and information.

Once the actual award ceremony commences at 8pm ET, the Fuse studio in New York City will be home base for “Fuse Live: Grammys 2012 Review React Respond,” streaming youtube.com/fuse. Fuse’s “Top 20 Countdown” host, Allison Hagendorf, will hold down the fort with Carolina Bermudez, co-host of "Elvis Duran and the Z100 Morning Show,” recording artist and actress Adrienne Bailon, comedian Sherrod Small, and many more special guests.

GRAMMY viewers at home can treat this live chat as their innovative and opinionated GRAMMY companion, offering the inside scoop and gossip galore touching on everything from the performances to the most touching acceptance speeches. Meanwhile, Fuse’s digital duo, Elaine Moran and Dan Brown, will also provide timely updates on all the social media trends and online buzz surrounding the GRAMMYs.

Leading up to the music’s biggest night, Fuse had the GRAMMY’s covered with everything from a fan sweepstakes, GRAMMY artist takeovers and a fan fueled poll on Fuse.tv. In early January, Fuse kicked off the GRAMMY Nominee Takeovers on-air, featuring a special “Watch and Win” sweepstakes.

The takeovers included music videos, documentaries and news specials on GRAMMY nominees. Interspersed amongst programming were on-screen graphics prompting the chance to win a trip to the GRAMMY ceremony (including travel and hotel), walking the red carpet and attending the official GRAMMY after-party.

And, online Fuse held its annual GRAMMY Polldown, asking fans who they thought should win in 20 of the major GRAMMY categories. Fans of artists such as Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, and Chris Brown showed up in full force, casting over 1.1 million votes in less than four weeks!
