The 'Britain's Got Talent' judge needed a blood transfusion and was left in a critical condition after giving birth to the tot late last month, but she is now recovering at home with Hollie, her husband Chris Hughes and their six-year-old daughter Lexi.
Posting a picture of her family on twitter, Amanda wrote: 'Thank you all for your wonderful messages. I am feeling fabulous! Hollie is amazing. Finally our family is complete!'
Despite the traumatic birth - which left Amanda fighting for her life - the actress says she has never been happier and has told friends the health scare has made her appreciate life so much more.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: 'She is delighted with the way Lexi and Hollie have bonded and the family have been enjoying some quality time with just the four of them.
'Amanda is telling everyone she has never been happier. She knows she is lucky to be alive and because of that she is enjoying every moment with Hollie even more. They had a few very tough days in hospital but now she just can't stop smiling. She and Chris are besotted with their girls.'
