Out with the old: Steve Jones and Nicole Scherzinger are done on the talent series.

UPDATE: Deadline.com reports Paula Abdul has hit the highway too. Abdul is no longer tied to the series.

"She Scherzinger] wants to focus on her [Scherzinger] music career," an E! source said. "She's spoken to Simon [Cowell] and he's given her his blessing."

"X Factor took a lot more of her time than she ever expected," the E! source said. "She didn't have any time really to work on her music. She was doing X Factor six days a week."

Fox confirms the news.
