Tune in alert for Sons of Guns tonight on Discovery:
Will Hayden and his team of gunsmiths at Baton Rouge-based Red Jacket Firearms are hired to do the impossible: bring the USS Kidd back to life for a full-on battle re-enactment, build the world's biggest flame cannon and restore a WWI Maxim machine gun so fires through a propeller.
All in a day's work for Hayden and his team who embrace the motto "If you can dream it, we can build it." This all-star team of craftsmen are featured in Discovery Channel's hit series Sons of Guns.
On tonight's Sons of Guns, Ted Nugent pays a visit and Kris Ford gets his first big assignment…
MORTARS AND MAYHEM
Premiere: January 11 at 9PM ET/PT
Will and the Red Jacket crew resurrect an 82mm Russian mortar, and push its limits going HE - high explosive - while testing. Then, tempers flare when Kris has trouble building the new, RJ Desert AR. Also Ted Nugent stops by for some belt fed, full auto madness.
