NBC 'Smash' star Debra Messing to divorce husband

NBC 'Smash' star Debra Messing and her actor/producer husband are divorcing yet they 'remain supportive of one another' and are 'committed to raising their son as a family' according to a statement released by their publicist.
On Tuesday, December 20, Debra Messing announced her separation from husband, Daniel Zelman. Her representative told the press that the couple "privately separated earlier this year after a 10 year marriage."
According to Us Weekly, the couple say "the decision was mutual", and that they "remain supportive of one another and committed to raising their son as a family." Us Weekly claims that the two "have been separated the better part of the year", they "continue to live together in New York" for their boy.
Debra and Daniel met n fell in love when they were post-graduate students at New York University.
