The Dark Passenger that Dexter Morgan carries will get to dazzle us with conflicted kills and Miami-Dade Metro homicide cases for two more years.
The salary negotiations with Michael C. Hall (whose previous contract just ended) have been settled, and Showtime has just announced that Dexter has been renewed for two more years.
"Dexter" is set for a seventh and eight season which means that Morgan may be receiving his AARP card while trussing up a scumbag for his slide collection.
According to Deadline, Showtime is paying Hall $20 million for two more seasons, but the star wanted $24 million.
Jennifer Carpenter (Deb) is carrying this season six in my opinion. The heavy-handed religion theme is getting stale for me; Edward James Olmos and Colin Hanks need to be Dexter-ized.
"Dexter" had the show's highest-rated premiere ever with over 2 million viewers.
