Donald Trump calls out Jon Stewart as a racist (VIDEOS)

Donald Trump has unleashed on Comedy Central star Jon Stewart, labeling the faux talk show host a racist.

Trump criticized Stewart for a segment he did on Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain, according to the NY Daily News.

Trump demanded he apologize:  "How come Jon Stewart gets away with a very, very racist rant about Herman Cain?" an outraged Trump posted on his "From the Desk of Donald Trump" YouTube channel. "Nobody else could pull that off. Where is Reverend Jackson? Where is Reverend Sharpton? Where are all the critics that if someone else did it, it would be a disaster?"

This response was to the Monday “Daily Show,” where Stewart makes light of Cain's double sexual harassment accusations when he was president of the National Restaurant Association.

Stewart played the interview where Cain was asked if he ever had to pay someone off for sexual harassment. Cain cryptically replies: "Outside the association? Absolutely not."

Stewart opined that Cain's answer was akin to being asked if he had ever kidnapped a baby only to respond, "No. Well other than the Lindbergh baby."

 

Trump blamed Stewart's delivery:  "The tone of his voice, the inflection. Unbelievable. Anybody else, deep, deep trouble."

Trump took an extreme position with Stewart saying he should leave the airwaves for a "little while."
