Everything not so old is new again.
Deadline reports that FOX is retreading a nineties' hit comedy sketch show, "In Living Color," that featured Jim Carrey and the Fly Girls which included Jennifer Lopez.
The series ran five seasons.
The Wayans Brothers starred in the groundbreaking sketch comedy series In Living Color with the series’ creator and star, Keenen Ivory Wayans, back again as host and executive producer.
Two half-hour specials are reportedly part of the network’s 25th anniversary celebration in mid-season with a series option in the event the ratings are promising.
Characters to remember include Blaine Edwards (Damon Wayans) and Antoine Merriweather (David Alan Grier); Homey D. Clown (Damon Wayans), scam artists “The Home Boys” (Keenen Ivory and Damon Wayans); and Fire Marshall Bill (Jim Carrey), a disfigured safety expert.
Fox 21 is producing "In Living Color," along with Showtime's breakout hit drama "Homeland," A&E's "Breakout Kings" and FX's top drama "Sons Of Anarchy."
