New England supernatural potboiler 'Haven' renewed by Syfy

Syfy renews 'Haven' the moody supernatural drama starring Eric Balfour, which returns in 2012 with 13 hour long segmentss of the series.
The series is a New England gothic, based on Stephen King's novella "The Colorado Kid" and set in a small Maine town that has a supernatural life hidden from immediate view.
Syfy's scripted series "Haven," "Alphas," "Warehouse 13" and "Eureka" (which heads into its final season next year on the NBCUniversal network) all broke the 2.5 million mark in total viewers for last season, according to Nielsens.
