NBC's next blood drawn is the Hank Azaria comedy "Free Agents."
NBC killed the Wednesday comedy "Free Agents" after four airings.
The series failed to keep the lead in ratings from comedy "Up All Night," which was given a full-season pickup.
Using Twitter, Azaria plead his case: Okay, it's do or die time for my show Free Agents -- we need eyeballs tonight at 8:30 on NBC!! Watch tonight or we may go away."
The "Up All Night" full season order spelled trouble for Azaria's show since "Up All Night" leads into "Free Agents."
"Hey kids, please watch Free Agents this Wednesday at 8:30. I fear it may be your last chance!!"
Azaria may be out on "The Simpsons," which may end over money disputes at the end of its current season.
"Free Agents" stars Azaria and Kathryn Hahn as co-workers who explore a relationship together after his divorce.
