Nothing like being captured on film "not at your best dear" (thanks Margaret Schroeder of "Boardwalk Empire") to wake you up and set you straight.
Poor actress Kim Delaney, star of Lifetime's “Army Wives,” was physically escorted off stage at the National Constitution Center Thursday night after delivering a shambolic, unintelligible speech for the Liberty Medal Award presentation to Former Defense Secretary Robert Gates.
“uh of the senior officers... I've attended numerous military funerals.....As I try to comfort wives, husbands, families, fathers, children...loved ones, made good, what I’ve learned is the Constitution Center....knowingt no words or talk or anything can bring back their people....” Delaney said looking like a narcoleptic.
Delaney’s painful speech was cut short by the organizers sending in a woman to take Ms. Delaney off stage.
