Season 1 Recap (Airs September 1, 2:01 – 2:05 am e/p) –
Jax Teller’s journey begins with the discovery of a life-altering document written by his dead father, SAMCRO founder John Teller.
Gemma, Jax's mother and club matriarch, along with her husband Clay Morrow, current SAMCRO president, try to suppress John Teller's truths in order to keep Jax in line with the club.
Tara Knowles, Jax’s high school sweetheart, returns to Charming, further challenging Jax's commitment to the club.
Season 2 Recap (Airs September 2, 2:00 – 2:04 am e/p) –
SAMCRO faces new criminal and personal threats when the League of American Nationalists, a racist group headed by Ethan Zoebelle (Adam Arkin), tries to end the club's gun business. LOAN and renewed ATF aggression (Agent June Stahl played by Ally Walker) compromises SAMCRO's relationship with the Irish. Gemma is framed by Stahl for murdering a RIRA member and Jax's infant son Abel is kidnapped by the dead member's vengeful father.
Season 3 Recap (Airs September 3, 5:00 – 5:04 am e/p) –
The backstory of SAMCRO's income and relationship to the Irish is colored in this season. SAMCRO feels powerless over Abel's kidnapping. Jax's grief sends him into deeper turmoil over his future with the club. The search for Abel sends Jax, Gemma, Clay, Tig, and other SOA to Belfast where Jax faces not only the Real Irish Republican Army but an untold personal history regarding his family.
This is the season Gemma faces John Teller's old mistress (and mother to Jax's half sister) Maureen Ashby (Paula Malcomson) and Maureen sends damning letters about Gemma and John back to the USA with Jax's luggage, only to be discovered by Tara.
Agent Stahl is executed by SAMCRO.
