The clever Kardashians have made a fortune on the nuptials of their daughter Kim, so much so that the lavish Montecito wedding this past Saturday more than paid for itself.
Various reports in the media claim the wedding cost upwards of $10 million.
Thanks to their network E!, the Kardashians are keeping up with the Benjamins, to the tune of an $18 million profit for their wedding.
The E! Entertainment wedding special, "Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event," produced by Ryan Seacrest is coming this October. Kardashian also has a new line of clothing at Sears that is heavily promoted within the E! reality TV series that chronicles the Calabasas' family's affairs.
Add to that the $2.5 million People magazine shelled out for exclusives on the print media reporting.
The New York Post reported the freebies alone would make you fall over. Free $20,000 Vera Wang gown, in total three free dresses she received from the designer.
Free $10,000 black and white wedding cake made as a replica to Prince WIlls and Kate's. Free $400,000 in pricey Champagne; free $10,000 in wedding invitations; free plastic surgery for mum Kris Jenner, reported to be worth $50,000.
Another round of free is coming for the newlyweds: The Aug. 31 reception in New York, reportedly comped.
