Julianne Moore is Dope for HBO

The "Mildred Pierce" creatives Christine Vachon, Todd Haynes and John Wells, have selected Julianne Moore and HBO once again to work some smallscreen magic.
Deadline's Nellie Andreeva scooped the news as the new period in development for HBO is the drama series "Dope" starring Julianne Moore. The project is based on Sara Gran's novel.
Haynes will direct the penned script by Gran who adapted her book.
The setting is New York, circa 1950, and centers on a rehabilitated heroin addict who becomes a private eye.
The other HBO project previously reported on with Moore attached is "Game Change," where she is cast as Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
