'The Big C' August 14 Marathon on Showtime scheduled

Marathon "The Big C" sessions are scheduled on Sunday, August 14 on Showtime.

Cathy is trying to keep it together and recover as she battles cancer, raises a difficult teen, houses an even more difficult teen (Gabourey Sidibe), keeps her marriage to Paul (Oliver Platt) and is now neighbor to her formerly homeless brother Sean (John Benjamin Hickey).

Fans of the comedy series "The Big C" can catch up on the season with a special Sunday marathon this weekend.  All seven episodes of the new season will air back-to-back beginning at 2:30 PM (ET/PT), Sunday, August 14th on Showtime.

The series Laura Linney in her Golden Globe®-winning role as Cathy Jamison, a reserved, Minneapolis wife/mother/teacher whose cancer diagnosis forces her to shake up her life and find hope, humor and the light side of a dark situation. This season, Cathy progresses from Denial to Anger on the grief cycle and becomes an all-out warrior in the fight against her Stage 4 melanoma.
