Charlie Sheen went to war with showrunner Chuck Lorre months ago, but now the former sitcom star is wishing his replacement well, and refusing to lob any incendiary comments.
"Who's not going to watch?," Sheen told Extra TV. "I'll be there front and center. I'm just as curious as everybody else."
"I'm actually rooting hard for them and that worm is turning. ... It'll be nice to know that they get some carry-over ratings from people being curious about what happened to their guy."
Initially Sheen told reporters that "Two and a Half Men" would be destroyed with Ashton Kutcher taking on a lead role.
But Charlie blasted CBS in the move and noted Ashton Kutcher as a "brilliant comedic performer."
Kutcher said of his selection to replace Sheen: “I can't replace Charlie Sheen but I'm going to work my ass off to entertain the hell out of people!"
Sheen replied, "Kutcher is a sweetheart and a brilliant comedic performer ... Oh wait, so am I!!"
"Enjoy the show America. Enjoy seeing a 2.0 in the demo every Monday, WB."
Charlie also said to Kutcher, "Enjoy planet Chuck, Ashton. There is no air, laughter, loyalty, or love there."
Sheen will next be celebrated in a Comedy Central roast set to air Monday, Sept. 19 coincidentally the same night as the "Two and a Half Men" season premiere.
