With rumors now abounding that Warehouse 13 will be back again on Syfy next summer, the show keeps cranking out excellent episodes, including this week, which featured Jeri Ryan.

Here's the episode's description from tv.com: "Pete's ex-wife Amanda visits to tell Pete that she's remarrying, and inadvertently picks up an artifact that turns anyone she touches into her undying slave. Meanwhile, Claudia and Steve go to a Civil War reenactment to recover U.S. Grant's flask."

The ratings are just fine for this program, and that's good for Warehouse fans. But what's more important is that the quality of episodes is averaging very high as well.
Jeri Ryan's portraying of Pete's ex-wife is actually fun.

She does a nice job of playing someone who has no idea what's going on, unlike Seven of Nine in Star Trek: Voyager, who knew more than many other folks on the ship. She and Pete didn't work out for reasons that include his alcoholism, but they still part amicably, which is something we don't see enough of on television, in my opinion.

Amanda proves that there's no place safe around the Warehouse as she ends up with part of an artifact in her bag. She doesn't notice that everyone is obeying her ... until it's too late and they are doing what's best for her whether she likes it or not.

That involves carrying the family of the groom away and hiding them someplace. Maybe it's best we don't know exactly where that was. They also have a knock-down fight with Myka and Pete as they depend on an ill Artie to sort out just how to resolve the situation.

On the other story, Steve and Claudia get to dress up like Civil War soldiers as they hunt down another artifact. It's interesting to see them sort out just how to locate what they seek. Of course, being a Star Trek fan, I loved the joke about fans who were masquerading as time travelers. Funny!

My only concern is that Steve and Claudia not be on the same missions all the time. We need to see the teams mix up occasionally or that'll become routine. Let Claudia go with Pete sometimes, and Steve with Myka. We need to keep the status quo from being too pat.

Overall, it's another great episode from Warehouse 13!
What’s up next? H.G. Wells returns to the Warehouse leads to a time travel escapade.  Should be fun, so see you next week!
