CBS 'Two and a Half Men' Ashton Kutcher confidence high with executives

This morning's Television Critics' Association netted some "Two and a Half Men" updates, specifically Ashton Kutcher details on his character.
The new "Two and A Half Men" star is cast as an lovelorn Internet billionaire Walden Schmidt, as the new Charlie Sheen-less sitcom returns to CBS this September 19.
This morning, CBS entertainment chief Nina Tassler refused to give details on how Charlie Sheen's character would be written out of the show.
"I am not going to confirm or deny that...The mystery is part of the marketing," said Tassler at the summer press tour confab at the Beverly Hilton hotel.
Regarding a lesson learned from the acrimony created by Sheen, Tassler praised professionalism in her actors: "What we learned is that we have an extraordinary cast, we have extraordinary writers and extraordinary actors and that there is great value in hiring an actor like Ashton Kutcher...[who] is an extraordinary professional, talented, funny gifted actor..."
