The cackling skeleton host delighted adults and kids alike from 1989 to 1996 and featured great guests like Adrienne Barbeau, Whoopi Goldberg, Demi Moore, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Leslie Nielsen, Tom Hanks, Joe Pesci, Brad Pitt and so many others.
At Comic Con, Andrew Cosby, co-Creator of SyFy’s ‘Eureka,’ and one of the new show’s producers told reporters: “It will be an ongoing series that uses characters from the comic books in a more modern context, It’s about continually evaluating the genre, for both existing fans and mainstream audiences.”
The show’s been in development and reportedly will be made as hour-long series, not an anthology style like the HBO classic.
What network it winds up is still in play.
