'Dexter' will see faith and mayhem collide in season 6, new trailer (VIDEO)

Comic Con darling "Dexter" always delivers, and this year saw the promo materials featuring Dexter with angel wings, but certainly no angelic behavior as his character gets darker than ever.

SDCC 2011 Panel included Executive producers Sara Colleton and Scott Buck, star Michael C. Hall (Dexter Morgan), C.S. Lee (Vince Masuka), David Zayas (Angel Bastista), James Remar (Harry Morgan), and guest stars Colin Hanks (Travis Marshall) and Mos Def (Brother Sam).

The new season 6 is a fast-forward for a year later in the storyline, as son Harrison will be a focus for Dexter.

“Defining faith” is the theme of the season. The loose ends of the troubled waters of KaGuerta and Angel's marriage will heat up too.

Showtime revealed the Season 6 trailer. The release date for the season 6 premiere: Sunday, October 2 at 9pm EST/PST.
